Manuels River Interpretation Center is located an easy 20-minute drive from downtown St John's. Your admission includes access to the state-of-the-art interpretive center and the hiking trails. Learn about the rare 500 million-year-old trilobite fossils and the ancient geology of the area. Wander a picturesque 6-kilometer (3.7-mile) trail system to take in a rich variety of plant and animal life. There are two fossil localities at Manuels River, one on Ocean Trail East and one on Ocean Trail West. When you're ready for a rest, sit back and relax from your treetop view overlooking the river at the onsite cafe.
