Rabat/Mdina Guided Food Tour

2. Rabat/Mdina Guided Food Tour

This Tour consists of 4 hours of nibbling, so we suggest you consider having a light breakfast! We Start with a walk around the narrow streets of the village of Rabat, and stop to taste a Traditional Maltese Breakfast Snack with some tea or coffee. We will then walk into the Old City of Mdina, it is estimated to have been founded around 800BC, and was the film set of the famous Game of Thrones during season 1. In Mdina we will discover many interesting stories and facts related to our palate, traditions and customs. Inside the Old City we will stop for a guided tour at a 12th Century Palazzo, and learn about the kitchen and the parties they used to organise in those days. To Conclude we will move to the terrace for a Maltese degustation, which would include Cheeses, Bread, Focaccia, Pastries, Soft drink, Sweets and more. An Experience with a Nobel Touch!

What people are saying about St Paul's Bay

What a fun day! We loved visiting the Blue Lagoon most of all. Although this is a short stop you can take a dip in the amazing turquoise water. There are food trucks to purchase drinks and food. A big fruit cup was only 3 euros and so good! When we flew out 2 days later we actually saw the lagoon from the air! The Gozo stop was 2 hours, really not enough time to get to Victoria (the capital) so we just walked up to a beautiful church and ate our picnic lunch. It was relaxing cruising around the islands and enjoying the gorgeous views. Drinks are available for purchase on the boat, not sure of the cost, but prices seemed reasonable everywhere we went. This is a long day of almost 8 hours so bring snacks and sunscreen. We totally recommend this trip, a great day for the price!

Good value for money. I wish we stayed longer at the Blue Lagoon. You only get around 1h and 30 min at the lagoon, and another 1h 30 min in Gozo, which does not allow you to visit much. However, you get quite exhausted, so somehow it’s enough. I also wish the captain gave us some information about places we visited. I ended up Googling information about the islands visited during the trip i.e Comino island. Make sure you pack sunscreen! And cash!

Definitely worth the money! this excursion is good if you want a taster of each place rather than getting multiple buses or taxis to each location. Great for people who want to explore themselves rather than guides and the pinapple slices were a nice suprise to end the day. Friendly crew, clean boat and at a good price. What more can you ask for!?

Amazing day out!! Having never done a boat tour before this was everything I could have expected and more

It was very excitting and beautiful tour. The captain was very funny and lazy.
