The basilica is breathtaking and Daniele V was a very knowledgeable and entertaining guide. From St. Peter’s square to the knave with an amazing collection of colossal statues and beautiful mosaics to the roof and the dome, it was well worth hearing about the confluence of the Roman Empire and the Catholic Church, as well as the part Benito Mussolini played in the establishment of the Vatican as a sovereign state.

Absolutely recommended tour, better if you avoid Saturdays before holidays, perhaps considering the amount of people. The wait for the security check and for the dome is worth it though. If you add Alessandro then you have done the einplein! Warm voice, engaging, professionalism, no hesitation in explanations… in short, the ideal guide! Had it been possible we would have hired him for the duration of our vacation !!

A highly recommended tour where you get a lot of background knowledge. The tour started on time and our guide looked after us very well and provided us with a lot of information. But it's not always skip the line. For security reasons, the bags are checked and the “Green Pass” checked. There you have to line up like everyone else and there are no group advantages. This also applies again to the climb to the dome. But it was really worth it and I can only recommend it to everyone. During the waiting time you get a lot of information from the guide. All in all, it was really worth booking the tour and I can definitely recommend it.
