Explore the island of Java by visiting the famous volcanoes on the island of Java, Bromo and Ijen. Depart from Yogyakarta by private mini van/van, accompanied by an experienced English-speaking tour manager. And explore Mount Bromo using a 4x4 vehicle to see the sunrise, and climb the crater rim. Then head to Ijen to see the famous blue fire. And watch the sunrise from the crater rim with a charming turquoise lake. The tour will end at Ketapang Ferry Terminal, Banyuwangi, and you can continue your journey to Bali. Day 1 You will be picked up and heading directly to your accommodation in Bromo. Day 2 Picked up by a 4x4 vehicle and head to the sunrise point, enjoy the sunrise and head to sand area for a photo session with the background of the Widodaren hill, then hiking to bromo begins towards the crater rim. Then return back to accommodation for breakfast and continue the journey to Ijen. Day 3 Hiking to ijen starts at 2 am, and hiking for 2 hours to the blue fire point. Then back to the crater rim to see the sunrise. then back to starting point and continue driving to get to the ferry terminal. You will be at Ferry terminal at 9am apprx.

From the crater rim, you can see the active Bromo crater, caldera and the mountainous views of Mount Batok and the highest mountain on Java Island, Mount Semeru. Also, you can find the Hindu temple reflecting the Majapahit Kingdom's history. To complete the day, you will be get a simple breakfast Toast, Strawberry jam, egg, Fruits and a little mineral water before returning to Malang at around 12.30 AM.

This second day will be ended by checked you in a guesthouse close to next volcano. Mount Ijen Volcano will be earlier than Mt. Bromo start time, it will trully a midnight start. Blue flame is kind of rare things to meet, this hiking trip will hunt for the blue flame and will hike down after sunrise, guide will tell the storical things about this area. Finally tour will finish at harbor, otherwise you can choose to go back to Surabaya. Also available option for continue with shuttle to Ubud. Let's explore the beautiful landscape of Mount Bromo and Ijen Crater in East Java. This trip start from Surabaya city, it's located between Yogyakarta and Bali. While heading to Bali, you can simultaneously visit these two favourite places. To start this trip, we are flexible in terms of pick-up time and place. You can request to be picked up from 09:00 (9 AM) to 23:00 (11 PM). From Surabaya, you can request to be picked up at the airport, hotel or train station. You can choose these 2 following itineraries : Itinerary #1 (Start Surabaya, finish Banyuwangi-Bali) Day 1, 10:00 AM (Upon your request) From Surabaya, we will go to the hotel near Bromo slopes, then stay one night there. On the way to Bromo, you can try local food or fruit from East Java. 18:00 Dinner, and have a rest and sleep at hotel. Day 2, 02:30 AM Arround 02.30 AM, we will take a Jeep to Penanjakan hill. There we will see the sunrise and also landscape of Mount Bromo. After that, we descend towards Mount Bromo by Jeep, then continue hiking to top of Bromo crater. After do hiking, we return for breakfast After breakfast, we will go to the Ijen hotel, it takes about 3 hours by car to get there. Around 3 PM we will arrive at the hotel. You can also have dinner here, take a rest and sleep. Day 3, 00:00 AM The third day we will hike Mount Ijen, from hotel the trip takes about 2 hour drive. So we will start from hotel arround 00:00 AM. From Ijen basecamp to get to the top of Ijen crater, you will need about one hour and half by walk. If you want to see the blue fire, then you have to go down to the bottom of the crater which takes 20 minutes. After that, we go down to the basecamp, continue with breakfast. 09:00 Drive to Ketapang Harbor, Banyuwangi to continue by Ferry go to Bali 10:30 Arrive at Ketapang harbor, End of trip Itinerary #2 (Start Surabaya, finish Surabaya) Day 1, 10 AM - 3 PM (upon your request) At first day, we will drive from Surabaya to Ijen hotel, we will need about 5 hour drive to go to Ijen hotel. 17:00 Dinner and have a rest at hotel. Day 2, 00:00 AM The second day we will hike Mount Ijen, from hotel the trip takes about 2 hour drive. So we will start from hotel arround 00:00 AM. From Ijen basecamp to get to the top of Ijen crater, you need about one hour and half by walk. If you want to see the blue fire, then you have to go down to the bottom of the crater which takes 20 minutes. After that, we go down to the basecamp, continue with breakfast. 09:00 Drive back to Hotel to have shower and rest, then at 12 noon we will head towards Bromo. Arround 4 PM, we will arrive at Bromo hotel, take rest and sleep. Day 3, 02:30 AM At 02:30 we will start exploring Mount Bromo by Jeep. At 05:00 We will see sunrise and landscape of Bromo mountain. Then continue by hiking to top of Bromo crater. After have breakfast, we will check out hotel, and then drive to Surabaya, Drop off at train station, airport, or hotel on Surabaya city.
