We offer up to a 45-minute boat trip when it comes to our Shepperton Cruise. It’s a circular cruise, departing from Cowey Sale, Walton Bridge and passes through the Desborough Channel to D’Oyly Carte Island and returns via the meandering old river, past Shepperton Manor, picturesque bungalows and gardens. After passing the boarding point, the boat continues through Walton before turning at the Swan Public House for the short return journey. We have a fully licensed bar on board all of our vessels. During the duration of the trip snacks and soft drinks are on board, however we do not serve sandwiches.

From our location in Kingston, GoBoats have access to a stunning non-tidal section of London's River Thames. Our boats fit up to 8 people including children (dogs are also welcome). No boating experience is necessary, as you’ll be taught everything you need to know. Our friendly crew will welcome you by the kiosk to give you your boating instructions and provide life jackets for babies and buoyancy aids for children. Your session will start with a safety briefing and some land-based training on the riverbank or our pontoon near Richmond Bridge. This typically takes 15-20 minutes depending on group size. We will introduce you to the kayaking equipment, teach you about safety and navigation on the river, as well as paddle techniques, including how to steer, stop and self-rescue. We will then head out onto the river, either upstream towards Eel Pie Island and Teddington or downstream towards Richmond Lock, Isleworth, Kew Gardens and Chiswick, depending on the tide. The distance actually covered will depend on wind and tide conditions on the day.

Highly recommended something unusual to do but very safe both on land and water it was lovely safe for all ages babies to oldies brilliant guide as well lovely staff and in a wonderful setting off Windsor castle on the great river Thames
