Fantastic guide providing with loads of information as we journeyed up to the winery. The wine tasting was great with amazing views. In totally we tasted 4 wines with cheeses and other bits. The food in the restaurant later was fantastic and very fresh, this also came with a jug of wine to share around. One of the best days we’ve had on our holiday.

Outstanding! What an amazing day! My husband and I joined two other couples who had also booked the trip and we all made friends and had tremendous fun together starting with the sumptuous and very generous wine tasting with delicious snacks at the Gambino winery. The sommelier was very knowledgeable and gave us really interesting information about wines. Thisc was followed by a very jolly Sicilian lunch with more wine at a nearby pretty restaurant. The day really was a highlight of our trip and it was brilliant to be with other people on the tour as this made the whole experience so enjoyable. Antonio, the guide is superb - he is really friendly and knowledgeable and an excellent, safe driver. The Mercedes was super comfortable to travel in. We loved it so much, we want to do it again!!! The transport is comfortable and our guide was friendly. There is only one winery we visited. It was picturesque and the wine tasting was endless although not a wide selection. Each wine was first accompanied with a selection of cheeses. We also had olives, eggplant and bread with olive oil. From here it was short trip to the restaurant where we were served a pre set menu of 4 or 5 shared dishes and a jug of red and white wine plus water. The restaurant location is lovely and full of locals which is a good sign.
