I’m not a tour fan. The ground traveled was considerable. The beautiful coast and beach to the marketplace and back alley shops were on the plus side. Riding camels and a lengthy promotion in an oil and cosmetic shop were the negatives. Spent twenty minutes in a cave with noisy music etc. Unrelated to the culture in my opinion. The lunch was good with musicians for entertainment. The length of time spent filling out forms for a visa was taxing. Tour guide Rashid was experienced and a lot of fun. Bus driver Abdul was competent. My favorite part was the free time in the markets. I’d suggest more of that and eliminate the camels and caves.

A nice way to get an impression of Morocco in a day. Start time of the tour was 10:00 but because of the first formalities you only have a boat at 11:00, which in our case was also more than half an hour late. The hour time difference with Morocco does help. Guide Rashid is great, and although you know that you will end up at several specific shops that they hope you will buy, it is still nice to have lunch in a restaurant, visit a weaving mill and a nature pharmacy as well as some typical touristy attractions such as the caves of Hercules, the border between the mediterranean sea and the atlantic ocean, camels to see, etc. The only thing that bothered me was the constant stream of street vendors trying to sell you their stuff incessantly. It works best to ignore it completely, however unsympathetic it may be. I saw that if you do buy something, it only attracts more sellers. Still recommended!

At the meeting point we were confused about who we were meeting but met them at the information desk after asking around, it was the only bad point. Our actual guide we met in Morocco called Rashid, he was the best tour guide I've met. He was so lovely and funny and caring. He went the extra mile to make sure everyone was okay and even walked us to the ferry when it was time to depart. 10/10 for Rashid!
