The Hague: The Pier SkyView Ticket with Drink and Snack

2. The Hague: The Pier SkyView Ticket with Drink and Snack

SkyView de Pier is the first Ferris wheel constructed over the sea in Europe. It was built at the Pier in Scheveningen and is a great possibility to get to see the city of The Hague from above.  Fly to a height of 50 meters and enjoy the amazing views over the North Sea, the beach and if you're lucky, you might even be able to see Rotterdam. Take advantage of a closed climate-controlled gondola and enjoy the ride with your friends and family.  Savor some freshly baked apple pie or muffin with tea or coffee that you can take with you on the ride.

The Hague: Guided Tower Climb

3. The Hague: Guided Tower Climb

Climb The Hague Tower with your knowledgeable guide who will explain to you the history of this landmark. Revolutions, restorations, wars, the French Occupation, and lightning strikes, The Hague Tower survived it all. With 600 years of history, the Hague Tower is one of the oldest buildings in the city and a landmark for travelers and locals. Christiaan Huygens, Vincent Van Gogh, and even Napoleon climbed this unique tower. It was built in a hexagonal shape to protect it from the sea wind. Climbing the Hague Tower is possible for almost everybody as there are several floors on the way up on which you can rest for a moment. Once you're at the top, you will be able to enjoy panoramic views from the beautiful skyline, Rotterdam, and the sea. After the tour, enjoy a complimentary bottle of water (sparkling or still) that will be waiting for you downstairs. A handout with the English translation of this tour is also available at the ticket center upon request.

What people are saying about The Hague

Luckily we had a short (3min.) waiting time, but at least 20-30 people who had to wait longer came after us. You drive about 3-4 laps on the Ferris wheel. Thanks to blue skies and sunshine, we had a great view over The Hague. We were able to take great pictures of our Hotel Amrath and the hustle and bustle on the beach. The glass cabins are bearable even in the heat, thanks to the air conditioning. Had booked 2 people on the internet before the holiday (each 14 euros) and received the snack and drink "for free" (muffin, chips, cocoa and latte macchiato). Anyone who is on site MUST experience it in any case! A real highlight.

Was super nice. We booked the VIP gondola on site. I can only recommend treating yourself to it. The ride is twice as long and the gondola has super comfortable seats, music and air conditioning

Nice view, perfect information with regard to the building and town. This is a perfect hour on a trip to the hague!

Enjoyed the stories, the humour, the history, info and the fellow passengers! Despite the pouring rain!

Wonderful tour, great tour guides. Definitely a must do in The Hague
