Windsor Castle and London Eye Half-Day Tour

1. Windsor Castle and London Eye Half-Day Tour

Drive to Windsor Castle in the Royal Borough of Berkshire on a half-day tour to explore more than 900 years of royal history. From William the Conqueror through to the current Queen, successive English monarchs have lived, ruled and left their mark on what is now the largest continuously occupied castle in the world. Your ticket allows entrance to the castle, where you can marvel at the splendor of St. George’s Chapel, and see the sumptuous state apartments. Take some time to wander around the pretty town, full of traditional shops and historic pubs. Shakespeare is said to have written his play “The Merry Wives of Windsor” in one of them! Then, return to the capital to experience the breathtaking feat of engineering of the London Eye. From inside one of the capsules you will be able to see for up to 40 kilometers in all directions on clear days. With a capacity for 800 passengers per revolution - equivalent to 11 double-decker buses each rotation takes about 30 minutes at speeds twice as fast as a sprinting tortoise. Great offer

If you have not rented a car, you should definitely book such a tour, as a taxi would be quite expensive. The tour time includes the return trip and time at Windsor Castle. You will receive a new voucher for the London Eye, which must be redeemed on the same day. Windsor Castle: It is very impressive and highly recommended!

Well worth the money.

Meeting at Victoria Coach Station was perfect. Centrally located. Guide from London to Windsor was very informative on landmarks going through London. Plenty of time to explore castle, then dropped off to go to Eye.

Good organization

The location of the meeting point on the scheduled day complicated us, but the programming and attention during the rides was excellent.
