1. London: Changing of the Guard & Westminster Walking Tour

Start your group walking tour with the Changing of the Guard ceremony. Then, continue your tour towards Buckingham Palace, the residence of Queen Elizabeth II. Follow your guide on a crash course in British royal and democratic history by visiting the most important part of London, Westminster City. You’ll take in classic London sites such as 10 Downing Street, Whitehall, the Houses of Parliament, and Big Ben and hear about its construction and how the modern work will safeguard the 167-year-old tower. Greeting you in Parliament Square is Winston Churchill, and you’ll stroll around to meet other famous members of parliament and lawmakers. Hear their stories and learn why they have been honored with a statue in this prominent place. Finish your tour outside the iconic Westminster Abbey where royal weddings and coronations have taken place since 960AD. You’ll see the Jewel Tower and hear about the old Palace of Westminster, where Guy Fawkes and his co-conspirators tried to blow up Parliament, and how he saw his end in Old Palace Yard. See the statue of Suffragette Emmeline Pankhurst and hear how one determined woman spent the night in order to be counted as living in the building. See the famous balcony where the royal family appears during major events, and hear stories of intruders and princes scaling the walls both to get inside and out!

What people are saying about The State Rooms, Buckingham Palace

Today I had the pleasure of touring with Michael. He was funny, knowledgeable, WELL travelled, and very personable. As a Los Angeles native, I look for sunshine everywhere… and Michael definitely brought the sunshine with his witty spirit and comforting patience with me and the group. We saw not one but THREE changing of the guard ceremonies (you’ll have to book with him to find out which ones ;)) AND he shared more than what was expected such as delicious Fish & Chip shops in the area, unknown historical facts and funnies, and the best views that are exempt from the back of other tourists’ heads! Thank you Michael for a memorable experience and a wonderful Fish & Chip recommendation :)

Ian was a fantastic tour guide - he had great historical knowledge and stories, and prioritized getting our group to the best possible locations to view the changing of the guard and other crowded areas. He was great about accommodating everyone’s needs. Absolutely a great way to get an introduction to London.

Very nice outdoor activity between the great History and the small stories of palaces. The sun was with us ☺️ Thanks to Mickael who took us to the beat and shared his passion with us.

Brandon, the guide was just great. Told us a lot and went the extra mile with us. Finally, a pub recommendation that is worth 1,000 points. ☆☆☆☆☆

Excellent tour. Was exactly what I was looking for in a history tour of Bath.
