Full description

Meet your guide in the city center to start your discovery of the history and culture of Turin. Begin by exploring the Piazza San Carlo, where you encounter the equestrian monument of Emmanuel Philibert. Discuss the square with your guide, learning how it is considered the “drawing room” of the city. You then pass under a gallery to arrive at Piazza Carignano, where you can admire some of the most beautiful historical buildings, UNESCO-listed since 1997. From there, enter Piazza Castello, the real heart of Turin, to talk about the main monuments of the city. These monuments include sites such as Palazzo Reale, Palazzo Madama, and the San Lorenzo Church. The tour later concludes at the Mole Antonelliana, the most famous building of the city.

Very interesting for a first approach to the first capital of Italy and its rich historical past, as well as to select among the attractions, mainly museums, well worth a visit in order to fit them within our stay. The pace was suitable for everyone and our guide, Alessio, was very attentive, gave lots of info (even about where the locals eat) and answered all our questions. Highly recommended!
