Full description

Take a journey through the breathtaking South Rim of Grand Canyon National Park with a guided tour. Walk the pine-forest trails and take in views at the major lookouts, including Yavapai Point. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before walking the Rim Trail in the afternoon.

Arrive at the visitor center and begin walking along the Rim Trail with your guide. Within just a few minutes, notice the pine-forest ledges line the path and arrive at Yavapai Point. From here, take a moment to get a real sense of the depth of the canyon and examine the rock layers up close.

Learn of the geographic phenomena that formed this natural wonder that now stands 277 miles long and 8 miles wide. Take out your binoculars and try and pick out distant sights of the Colorado River, Phantom Ranch, and the mules on Bright Angel Trail.

After taking the time to truly gaze at the sight of the canyon, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Browse the shops if you're in the mood and get ready to explore the eastern Grand Canyon in the afternoon.

Stroll the level Rim Trail and focus in on the diverse plant life of the area. See if you can spot any wildlife or bird species as you wander. The park is home to deer, elk, bighorn sheep, and the most endangered bird in the world, the California Condor.

Begin the return back to the hotel along the Grand Canyon's South Rim. Make a few stops at lookouts to take in the last moments of the view and capture final photos.

Ultimate for many reasons! Our guide Leo was full of so much history, the people, nature and animals of the Grand Canyon Area. Accommodations were great for my limited mobility. She picked us up from from Flagstaff and made a complete circle coming back through the Navajo Nation. Each stop/view was breathtaking and learning about each stop made it such a deeper experience. I would highly recommend this trip!!!!

We traveled with Leo who expertly provided us with so much information on the history and natural wonder of the Grand Canyon. As first time visitors this was the perfect tour to learn about the Canyon and experience every look out point on the South Rim. Even in the cold, it was a beautiful day and a DELICIOUS LUNCH was a great bonus.

This trip was well worth it. Keaton taught us so much about the Grand Canyon, including plants, animals, geology and more. We visited many sites with different views of the south and east rims. We learned something new at each stop. Our group was super fun and Keaton was respectful and attentive to each member of our group. I can’t recommend this trip enough. We give it a 6 out if 5 rating!
