What people are saying about Vacherie

The airboat experience was wonderful. We signed up for a small group and six of us were assigned to one boat - like a private tour. Saw alligators, petted one, and experienced a fun ride in the swamp and marshland. The captain was also very knowledgeable and gave interesting information about the area’s past and present history. As for the plantation, the tour was worthwhile if one never been to a plantation. The local tour company that provided transportation between the hotel and tour sites could be a bit more organized/or informative about when we could expect to be picked up after the airboat ride. There were quite a few of the shuttle buses and we had to check with each bus driver to see if we were on his list. But overall, all went well.

Both tours were amazing all employees were so helpful so informative and tell the shuttle ride back to my hotel the guy drops me in a part of town I have no clue never been to the city before and says go that way and just points a finger I was supposed to be dropped off where I was picked up

It was a full day of experience. First we got to visit the Oak Alley Plantation and tour through it’s history then we were taken to the bayou for the awesome swamp tour. Absolutely recommend this company and the combo tour

Absolutely loved our guide Renee. He was very knowledgeable, helpful and entertaining. He went out of his way to make sure everyone in the group was well taken care of.

We had such a great time! Friendly service, and so much fun!
