Shortly after the purchase of the package we were contacted on whatsapp by the secretariat who explained in detail all the information necessary for the activity. When we arrived on site we were provided with a helmet and trekking shoes (included in the package), Nordic walking sticks were also available on request, but we did not consider them necessary. After arriving at almost 2500 meters with the cable car (tickets purchased separately) we walked along the slopes of the volcano where we fully enjoyed the experience crossing the lava tunnels, a lava flow and reaching up to 3000 meters (maximum reachable height ). Landscapes to leave you speechless, if you visit Sicily I consider it a must! The presence of our guide Luca, who explained everything there was to know about the history of Etna, was essential. Highly recommended!

It was very exciting to be up there, the group was a nice bunch and we made adequate stops. Ernesto gave us all hiking boots and trecking poles to help with our ascend (and they were so needed!). We also made a stop on the way to mount Etna and back, which helped with my car sickness and overall tiredness. The experience was fulfilling and I'd do it again!

Best choice to spend a trip to Etna with this people - Marco and other guides, very positive mood, many great and interesting stories about Etna, great locations - it was the best day of my life even because I engaged with my girlfriend and these people made our day even more special :) Thank you also for great photos we would fully recommend it! :)

Our climb up Mount Etna with guides Marco and Peppe was the highlight of our trip to Sicily. We are a family of four with teenage children and the pace was perfect for us. We were given lots of interesting information as we walked and the descent was a lot of fun. Highly recommended and good value.

Nice experience however it remains quite sporty!!! Between 4h and 5h of walking with a lot of climbing, you need to be a minimum of trained but the experience is worth it.
