Malta: Blue Lagoon, Beaches & Bays Trip by Catamaran

1. Malta: Blue Lagoon, Beaches & Bays Trip by Catamaran

We will stop in 2-3 different locations. The first stop will be the Blue Lagoon. The boat will drop anchor away from the crowds so that you can experience the famous turquoise water peacefully. The stops after the Blue Lagoon depend on the weather/sea conditions. A few of our possible stops are: 1. Crystal Lagoon, surrounded by steep, dramatic cliffs. Its crystal clear waters are much deeper than the Blue Lagoon, making the area fantastic for snorkelling and swimming in and around the caves. During this stop, you can enjoy an optional barbecue. 2. Anchor Bay to view the film set of Popeye’s Village, tucked away in a charming bay. Other stops that could be made include Mellieha Bay, Golden Bay, GHajn Tuffieha Bay, Ramla Bay, Imgiebah Bay, or Half Rock. All of these locations are great for snorkelling and swimming. Back on the boat, listen to dance music, and buy cocktails at the bar. If you have selected the afternoon option, relax and watch the sunset on the horizon. After a wonderful day at sea, begin the journey back to Bugibba.

What people are saying about Valletta

I had a great time on this cruise. We got going on time. Throughout the trip there were announcements as to the history of what we were seeing in multiple languages. I especially enjoyed seeing the Comino Caves and the Blue Lagoon. We had about an hour stay at the Lagoon. When we arrived at Gozo we were bussed to Victoria, where we had about two hours before we were picked up and brought back to the harbour. Drinks were available on the boat throughout and were resonably priced. All in all a great experience and excellent value for money.

We started off in Sliema where the boat departed from, made our way to Bugibba, passing by the east coast of Malta, with the staff giving some interesting facts about certain buildings we saw. From Bugibba we then made our way to Gozo where Majority of people got off to do a 3 hours tour, while a small group of us, made our way to Comino, specifically Blue Lagoon, the height of the day. Throughout the whole day the staff was friendly, helpful and informative.

Everything was really great, friendly crew members who helped and explained everything. You can buy a trip to Gozo for 5€ (Extra 1€ if you pay with card) when you arrive. Only thing was that some groups brought and drank alot of alcohol and were very drunk, trashed the place and couple times almost fell off the boat.

Great, it was really nice, the landscapes are beautiful but the only downside is that during the stop in Gozo to go to the city you can't get there on foot.

It is more like 1 1/4 hours but the views are great.
