Had a fun evening with our guide Elisabetha!

We visited two so-called “wine bars”. At the first, we were served cod with way too much mayonnaise on a piece of French bread. There were no chairs, no table, no plate and no napkin. We had to stand on the sidewalk next to the restaurant. The available wine was red or white, of unknown origin. At the second, we each had one fried meatball served in a flimsy paper napkin. However, we did have a wine barrel to put our plastic wine cups on while we ate the food. Again, the wine was of unknown origin. Our guide left us there after a few minutes and we had to clean up after ourselves to make the table available for the next guests. The food and wine were barely acceptable. The guide, a twenty-something lovely young lady, was poorly trained and given little to work with. DO NOT waste $65 per person on what was probably $20 worth of food and poor “wine.”
