This is a MUST while in Venice! We did the shared serenade because it was more affordable and it was just us and two other people with the musician in the front. He played a great mix of slow pretty songs and fun upbeat songs. Felt like the ultimate Venician experience.

It was nice

My husband and I had to sit separately and couldn't have our gondola picture as we were with 4 other people that we didnt know. If you were chosen to be first on the Gondola then you sit at the end. It was nice but its very much a business of getting you on and off.

An expensive must

You must go on a gondola while in Venice if you are a solo traveller this can be an expense. By sharing your gondola this makes it more possible. I was a little sad as I thought there would be less boats to a Singer. We had 5 boats in total with one singer in the middle. As we were the last boat we really couldn't hear him especially with others talking.
