      Started with a friendly and brilliant tourguide who filled us in on the deatls of the city of Verona. Informative and amusing at the same time. The opera was a beautiful spectacle on the rocks of the ancient Arena. However, spoiled by the PA systems used in simular occasions, the sound of the orchestra and the voices of the singers were sometimes hard to hear. And again, spoiled by big tv screens, the actors were hard to distinguish from the distance as well as the undertitles. Nevertheless, a btreath taking experience.

      Very good handling when exchanging the voucher for cards. You should be there by 5:40 p.m. The associated city tour began at 6:00 p.m. This should go about 1 hour. We didn't take part in it - so I can't give an assessment of it. The seats were in the cheap category, in sector VI. We were very satisfied with the seats, view and acoustics. You sit on the stone steps - as it should be :-)). So buy cushions in front of the arena - it's cheaper. Likewise rain poncho. Attention if you have a walking disability, it is difficult with the high stone steps without railings! An absolute must for Verona! The tickets cost around €36 online and on site in this category. Online you have booking fee and reservation fee. Suburb long lines. That's why the booking via GetYourGuide was very convenient and was done with just a few clicks. We couldn't pay online with a credit card - we were kicked out again and again. From that point of view, the price was absolutely fine!

      We spontaneously decided at noon and booked the tickets and picked them up at 5:45 p.m. at the arena. Then we did the one-hour city tour, our guide was very good. After that there was still time for a drink and then we went into the arena. Everything was superbly organized.
