We had a wonderful experience on this tour, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone! The ice cave was pretty amazing, but the highlight for me was actually hiking up to the glacier and seeing all the waterfalls. The tour guides where funny and full of great information, and the super jeep was a fun ride.

WOW!! What an experience!! Everything was great! Safety was definitely a priority! Our guide Sven, I cannot say enough about how enlightening and informative he was, with a gregarious personality! He shared his extensive wealth of knowledge regarding the glaciers and geology of the Katla volcano area. The ride was as much a highlight as was the glacier and ice caves. Would we book again… heck yeah and will bring more friends too!!!

Overall this was a life fulfilling experience. The day I went was the second day all year the area was snowy. It made for a breath-taking site. The journey to the glacier was something. We got stuck in the snow for a bit which made the adventure more unique. But the jeep truck we were in plowed through after a bit of luck. Once we got to the glacier area its about a 15 min walk to the glacier cave. I'd say the cave it's self wasn't much. I imagined walking into a glacier, and the cave being much longer. However overall the experience was great.
