First we visit the natural cave of Haxhi Ali. The trip to the cave lasts about 30-40 min.We will enter the cave where we will stay for about 15-20 min for some swim,diving in the underwater world and exploring the cave. After visiting the cave we go to one of the wonderful beaches of the Karaburun peninsula at “Saint Vasil beach” where you will have the possibility to swim,snorkel and enjoy the blue crystal waters and the beautiful nature around the beach. You aslo will have the oportunity to visit and explore the wild beaches on Saint Koli bay.You will have to do a 15 min walk to reach this wild beautiful beaches. Then we return to the departure point in the city of Vlore.

We jump on Board and the trip's first stop is Haxhi Ali Cave, the journey takes about 30 minutes. In the end we return to the starting point in the city of Vlora. The Sazan Karaburun National Marine Park is a marine park in the Vlorë County of southwestern Albania. First, we visit the Sazan island where we stay for about 1 hour which you decide how to spend it.Stay on the beach of Sazan or have a 30 min walk to visit the old town of Sazan island. Then we head to Haxhi Ali Cave.We enter the cave,where we stay for 20 min to have some diving snorkeling and exploring the cave. After the visit to the cave of Haxhi Ali we go to one of the most beautiful beaches of Karaburun peninsula to Dhim Kushta Bay where we stay for 3 hours or more. Once we are at Dhim Kushta Bay we can access to the small and wonderful beach of Saint Koli by walking for 20 min.We can go to the beach of Saint Koli by boat but it depends on sea conditions. In the end, get back to the port of Vlore where we start the tour at Olympia Bar.

You will be located on the Ionian Sea, at the eastern end of the Otranto Channel, in the center of the Bay of Vlora. Here we have the Marine Protected Area of Karaburun. Visit the Pirate's Cave You will leave by boat in the early morning from Vlora, to reach the Haxhi Ali Cave, located at the end of the Karaburun Peninsula, after about half an hour on the water. Arriving at the cave by boat is a unique experience. You enter a cubic-shaped area that extends for 30 meters in length, with a maximum height of 18 meters, and 12 meters in width. Inside this cave, the view is lost between the rock formations and the stalactites, the result of the constant work of water on the rocks over thousands of years. After lunchtime, you will stop on the beach of Zhanpovel Beach, refreshing yourselves with the best specialties of the local gastronomic tradition at the restaurant located on the beach. Returning in the early afternoon, you will cross the bay, flanking the Vlora coast, approaching the beaches with caves, of Zhironi and Kalasa and skirting the entire Cold Water district. The story of the pirate Haxhi Ali cave owes its name to the legendary pirate Haxhi Alia Ulqinaku. Born in Calabria in 1569, he moved with his family to Ulcinj, Albania and received military education under the Ottoman Empire. After serving in the Ottoman fleet, in 1609 he moved with his children and some Albanian sailors to the Karaburun peninsula. Here he began to defend the coasts from the incursions of the Venetians and the French, cooperating with the local population, which supplied the pirate with timber and raw materials. It was an episode that handed him over to the legend. Haxhi Alia was attacked in 1623 off the coast of Otranto by a powerful fleet of Venetians and British, but he heroically defended himself, until he earned legendary fame among the inhabitants of the Karaburun peninsula, who still sing songs in his honor.
