What people are saying about Volterra

We give this tour 5 stars. Luciana has an immense amount of knowledge and love for all things Tuscany. She explained the history, geology, botany, culture and the foods of the region. Both towns were wonderful. Volterra could be a tour of its own. She took us to small Etruscan ruins that you wouldn't visit on a tour bus (or most likely find on your own). If you are prone to motion sickness, be sure to take medicine before you leave. The roads are hilly, windy, and fast! The tour has a maximum of 4 people, so it can be catered to your interests. We highly recommend this tour!

Luciana was amazing! She was knowledgeable, personable, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience! She knew so many historical details, and she also asked for feedback throughout the day to make sure we were getting what we wanted out of the tour. Luciana was able to make changes on the fly, and the day was more than I could have hoped for. I would recommend her to anyone!

Super good tour guide - Luciana - great trip with culture, food and wine. You see San Gimignano and Volterra in detail, learn about the sights from the outside and often inside, learn what is produced in both towns, have a wonderful lunch overlooking Tuscany and a wine tasting at the end of the day. Everything included in the price! Just great!

My husband and I had a great time! Luciana was amazing and made sure we saw as much as possible. I had been to Volterra before, but I learned so much more the second time from her. The food and tastings were great. We will definitely recommend this company to our friends and will try some of the other tours next time we are in town.

It was an amazing tour, our guide was so nice and showed us everything possible! Our guide also used small streets far away from the tourists to show us the fantastic landscape
