Covid-19 Update

Due to health and safety regulations, this itinerary may change. See Know before you go for the latest updates.

Ready to test your night photography skills and see some jaw-dropping views while learning the history of the United States through the National Mall? Hop into the all-electric red Roadsters and get ready for the ride of your vacation.

Start your tour at the Smithsonian metro station, where your guide will take you back in time to the city’s origins and give you some tips for exploring the city on your own.

As you work your way through the Smithsonian complex, your guide will regale you with the story behind the amazing museums and help you choose which one you will visit during your stay.  Next, you’ll be taken past two of DC’s most incredible monuments, the Washington Monument and the Jefferson Memorial. Afterward, wander through the FDR and MLK memorials and enjoy a stroll along the jaw-dropping Tidal Basin at sunset.

Continue on past the World War I and World War II Memorials to the Lincoln Memorial, where you will be blown away by views of the Potomac River and the National Mall sparkling in the dark.  Be entertained by stories of the city’s history, statues, and famous buildings on your way to the White House, where you’ll see possibly the most iconic American structure.

Continue on towards Capitol Hill to be astounded by the Capitol Building. End your tour on a high note by asking your guide for some recommendations for the rest of your stay in the city.

RedRoadsters are the personal and comfortable way to tour the National Mall. Equipped with roll-down clear siding they’re the perfect way to sightsee in the rain or wind and come equipped with warm blankets in the winter for your comfort.

Unfortunately our taxi dropped at us wrong place so we were panicking and knew we couldn’t make to stop but Juliana called us and rest assured us we could get on tour next day no problem. It was a huge relief! Then our guide was fantastic. He had just moved from Wisconsin after graduating and wanted to try to get into history/politics. He was so nice and informative. All great customer experiences!

This is a great tour and a perfect way to start our trip to DC! Our tour guide was friendly, entertaining and very knowledgeable. We saw so many of the most famous monuments and learned funny and interesting tidbits about each one. We had a great time and would highly recommend this tour!

The tour was interesting with a lot to see, and the vehicle’s open air setup was cooling on a hot evening. Being a large man, I found it adequately comfortable to ride (I faced backward on the bench seat in the rear). Our guide, Peter, was entertaining and friendly, allowing us ample time to get off at various sites and roam for a while at site-scheduled stops. All in all an enjoyable time. Would definitely do again next time we come to DC.
