We had 2 standard bikes. A chance that we had and plan and for the return it was necessary to take Google Maps. It was a very nice experience on the bike path on the edge of the water. Thanks!! Lucy

Bikes are definitely the way to go if you’re touring the National Mall. You can cover a lot of ground in less time, therefore you get to see more of the city. It was a great choice for us.
