It was definitely worth it! Our tour guide was quite knowledgeable and very relatable! He was a graduate of Howard University and we came for my niece’s graduation from Howard! It was like walking with a very informed family member because although he gave us a lot of valuable history, he was quite personable and made it impactful to our diverse family audience!!!

Our tour guide Nur is very passionate about history, preservation of knowledge, accessibility for all and people. You will not mind the walking because there is so much to take in and Nur will answer any questions you may have and will take time to connect with you in a large group.

Our tour guide, Cris (sp?), was really great. She was on time, thorough, and provided us with wonderful little tidbits of information throughout the tour. As a US History teacher, there was so much more information I hadn't known and was privileged to know with her. I would only recommend a microphone for when the tour guide is walking around. This would help for those of us walking in the back, when they aren't directly facing us, or to drown out the city noise.
