Overall, I thought the tour and tour guide were excellent. It was very well organized and all the guides were friendly. Very reasonably priced. I did have a lot of trouble keeping up at Birkenau though. It’s massive and there was what seemed like a half mile walk just to get to the main building. An average person shouldn’t have trouble, I’m just very out of shape. I made it through Auschwitz 1 and after that, I was tired. So adding on Birkenau, I ended up hitting a wall halfway in. Just couldn’t walk anymore. So if you are a sedentary person, I would possibly recommend a shorter tour. It was more walking than I expected.
everything was well organized despite the long distance. trains were clean and spacious and the drivers friendly! our tour guide in both auschwitz and Birkenau ,Evelina, was amazing ,polite,respectful and speaking great English for all to understand. the polish tour guide was a lovely lady too giving even extra information to the group. highly informative tour as you get to hear facts you cant find in books. also there is enough time to explore krakow by the beautiful sunset and by night. very tired at the end of the day as lots of walking is needed but it was all worth it!
Everything was really well organized and great care was taken to ensure that you got on the right platform or got off the right way. The tour in Auschwitz was interesting, but it was a bit rushed, which was a shame. But the trip is still worth it!
Very worthwhile. Had 2 different guides, both were great- knowledgeable and well spoken
