We had a wonderful time at Westminster Abbey. The queue to get in was very long, but moved quickly. I believe we waited about a half hour, which is exactly hiw early we were recommended to arrive. The Abbey itself was very crowded, but you could take your time on the self guided tour. We stayed about 1.5 hours and had enough of the crowd. We'll be going back because it is simply magnificent!

Abbey to see absolutely! On the other hand, going through the site does not at all guarantee entry at the indicated time since everyone is queuing at the same time and does not allow you to take advantage of the family rate offered!! Balance sheet visit but do not go through the site.

It is larger than i thought, and I like the way how it was designed for self-guided tour with audio guide. The directions are clear, ensuring you not to miss anything. Many people though, and some corridors are narrow to move, so maybe will move slower and spend a bit more time that I expected.
