Full description
You will start the tour on the market square, at the entrance to the restaurant Schweidnitzer Keller at the town hall. Then go around the market square, briefly visit the Elisabeth Church, which is free. Then go in the direction of the university. Take a short stop at the Fencing Fountain and visit the most beautiful Baroque halls of Wroclaw: Aula Leopoldina and Oratorio Marianum. If you wish, you can go to the viewing platform on the Mathematical Tower and admire the beautiful old town panorama. Then go to the cathedral island, past the old Matthias Gymnasium through the baroque garden, at the old town mart hall, through the sand bridge and then to the sand island. On the way you will see the beautiful panorama. Then you visit the cathedral island with numerous churches and the Wroclaw St. John's Cathedral. Then take the steamer from the Schifffsanlegestelle for 30 minutes to the Jahrhunderthalle. Here you will briefly visit the former exhibition and exhibition grounds at the famous Jahrhunderthalle. See also the "Pergola" with the multimedia water features, the Japanese Garden and, upon request, the four-Dome Pavilion. At the pergola you can also enjoy a small visit to the regional restaurant and enjoy the Polish cuisine with a view of the water features. Then go to the pier and take the boat back to the old town.

Important information

Know before you go

  • The University is open until 2:30 PM during the season (closed on Wednesdays). At official city events, the university can sometimes be closed to the public all day long
  • There are toilets in the university
  • Jahrhunderthalle is open until 6:30 PM during the season. At official events, the Centennial Hall can sometimes be closed to the public all day long. In the Jahrhunderthalle you can visit the interactive museum or just the dome hall separately
  • The ships operate from March to November. The ships have three decks and are protected from the rain, have toilets and seats. The seats are not reserved. The boat takes about 25-30 minutes and 20 minutes back. In the winter months, you can use public trams instead of the ship

Die Führung war herausragend

Die Führung wurde von einem Stadtführer mit ausordentlichen Geschichtskenntnisse von Breslau hervorragend herübergebracht. Er zeigte uns alle wichtige Plätze bzw. Ecken die die Geschichte der Stadt erzählen. Er sprach ausgezeichnet Deutsch (von Beruf Deutschlehrer auf dem Gymnasium) und war ausgesprochen freundlich. Solch einen guten Stadtführer haben wir noch niemals gehabt. Vielen vielen Dank für die tolle Tour.

Unsere Reiseleiterin Alicija war supernett und kompetent, einfach toll

Unsere Reiseleiterin Alicija ist praktisch ein wandelndes Geschichtsbuch und sie wurde nicht müde und auch die Kleinigkeiten zu erklären. Jede Frage zu dieser schönen Stadt und seiner Geschichte wurde mit viel Hintergrundwissen beantwortet. Sehr gut gefallen, hat uns die kleine Pause in der Hals Targova und dem süßen kleinen Café. Wir waren eine private Gruppe von 10 Leuten und hatten viel Spaß an dem Tag. Lieben Dank noch einmal!
