When you arrive for this graffiti experience, an easel and art paper will be set up for you along with a table full of spray paint in a variety of colors. First, you will be taken through a step-by-step lesson with a facilitator on how to use spray paint. You’ll start with the basics: how to hold, angle, and handle the spray can, how to manipulate the pressure and length of the spray to create paint dots and lines of different sizes and widths, and how to write letters. Moving on to more complex skills, you’ll learn how to make a drop shadow, backgrounds and patterns, and a color gradient. This was my second time enjoying the street art tour with Lance as our guide. I enjoyed both tours(this year and last year)! I'd encourage others to book this tour. You get the opportunity to view amazing artwork, and Lance has a great personality and is very knowledgeable of the history of the artwork in Wynwood. You won't be disappointed.
