Nice trip on the river. No fancy table cloths etc. as shown in the picture. On arrival just a scone jam and cream on our table which we thought was all we were getting. Nobody said anything to change our thought and we could see others around us looking puzzled. The crew were very friendly so we asked whether there was more to come and they assured us that sandwiches and cakes/pastries would be served later. Tea and coffee was freely available with endless refills on request. Nice informative but not intrusive commentary on key locations with music between commentaries. Overall, very enjoyable experience. Crew very pleasant. Perhaps a tablecloth would add to the luxury of the experience and, add a little menu to let people know what they are getting and it would take away the doubt. Finally, I wanted to give the crew a tip as a thankyou but there was nowhere to do so. I ended up handing it to the skipper but I am sure others would have left a tip if there had been a tip box or similar

Me and my cousin took our Grandmother to this. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to do something a little different, could not fault one single thing about it! The sandwiches were fresh, cakes so mouth watering & moist, and piping hot tea and coffee! We went on a really rainy day and the weather definitely did not damper our trip! We are going to make it a yearly thing to do.

Lovely trip up the river and to learn sbout the history. The afternoon tea was excellent along with the staff on board. I think the only small thing to enhance the ambiance of the trip would be table clothes on the table. If if they were only paper ones. Other than that was good
