What people are saying about Zaandam

The venue is about 20 mins north of Amsterdam City Centre and easy to get to tram and bus; or take up the offer of a pickup from the owner which is good value. The owner is really friendly, helpful and a free coffee on arrival :-) Download the routiq app before you arrive - it will save time. The app downloads your route for the day and takes all the hassle out of navigating. Quick lesson at the start so you are safe and then the Amsterdam countryside is all yours! We hired the electric 'vesper' type bikes and did a 50km route. Really easy, safe and saw a different side to Amsterdam. Remember lots of layers, gloves and a hat - it was cold when we were there - April 22 We stopped for lunch about 2/3rds around the route at the Brasserie de Jutter which was really good too. No hesitation in recommending Holland by Electric Scooter.

Bart, the owner, was very friendly and offered us coffee or tea when we arrived in the morning. He made it easy to understand the route and how to ride the scooters for the first time. He was even generous enough to let me borrow a power adapter for my phone which came in handy for the GPS. The route was very pretty and the windmills and little town that surrounds it was a lot of fun to walk through.

Hans was a very generous guide and very nice one. He explains a lot of the history of Netherlands and made us discover the specialties of his country. We loved the activity and his way of sharing, also we haven’t seen the day passing. We recommend this activity 150% :)

Absolutely wonderful experience - would highly recommend. Thanks Bart for being so informative, fun and making sure we were fully equipped for the day!

Great, fun bike ride, thanks to our brilliant guide Hans
