Amsterdam Dungeon Entrance Ticket

1. Amsterdam Dungeon Entrance Ticket

The Amsterdam Dungeon is an uniquely thrilling attraction that will whisk you way back into the Netherlands’ most perilous past. See, hear, feel and (ahem) smell the chillingly amusing characters of the ‘bad old days’ as they come to life before you. Will you lose yourself in fear or in mirth? Whichever way, it’s not looking good for your underwear. Multiple different shows and a team of ten professional actors will give an unforgettable performance which will be terrifying and hilarious at the same time, depending on your tolerance for fear. Some of the attractions include figuring your way out of a dark labyrinth, witnessing a witch burn, encountering the ghost of a tortured woman and being tried by a Spanish Inquisitor. Discover the newest show 'The Flying Dutchman' in which a cursed legend comes to life. Will you survive his revenge? In 1651, you find yourself in a rough bar in the Amsterdam of old. 10 years after the legendary ship The Flying Dutchman disappeared, a sinister bar owner awaits the return of the cursed captain who is out for revenge.

Amsterdam Old City Private Walking Tour

2. Amsterdam Old City Private Walking Tour

Enjoy a private walking tour of Amsterdam with your own personal guide, and stroll through the medieval center to see parts of the old city wall. Continue along the famous canals to explore Chinatown, the former Jewish District, and the infamous Red Light District. Learn how Amsterdam was built on a reclaimed swamp, when the land was buried in mud and the harbor was almost inaccessible. Connection with the North Sea was not realised until the 19th century, but Amsterdam had already became one of the most important cities in the world. As you stroll, you will learn about its position as a major science and cultural center, and discover how in 1650 its population of 220,000 inhabitants made it the 3rd largest city in Europe. Your guide will explain key aspects of Amsterdam’s story, passing sights such as the 17th-century Oostindisch Huis, the Amsterdam headquarters of the East India Company. Discover old pawn shops and handsome merchant houses in the Jordaan district. Walk the banks of the Herengracht, one of the first 3 major canals of the city, and more.

It was an eary experience and made us jump at times and was a hair raising at times, the whole layout was very well laid out, well worth a visit, when we are back in Amsterdam we will definitely be making a return visit

Excellent activity, think maybe my best thing about our visit. It is very dark so you have to be careful underfoot as you adjust, but obviously its expected in this type of activity.

We both thoroughly enjoyed our experience, and had an amazing time! Would highly recommend a visit, and look forward to going back ourselves one day soon!
