Embark on a guided tour of Córdoba with skip-the-line entry to the great Mosque-Cathedral. Follow your guide through the historical Jewish Quarter and step inside the impressive Synagogue. Meet your experienced guide outside the Mosque-Cathedral. After being provided with a headset, start your tour by listening to an introduction to the history of the mosque. Explore the courtyard of the complex, called the Patio de los Naranjos. Soak up the atmosphere of this peaceful space with lots of greenery, and marvel at the beautiful Bell Tower. Then skip the ticket line to enter the monument without any hassle. Follow your guide as they take you around the mosque. Córdoba: City Highlights Guided Walking tour in Dutch

2. Córdoba: City Highlights Guided Walking tour in Dutch

Looking for a tour that teaches you all about the history and beauties of Córdoba? Then you've come to the right place. And it's in Dutch too! We start our tour at the Roman bridge that has been there for more than 20 centuries. Under the bridge flows the River Guadalquivir. This river was very important for the development and construction of the city. Other important buildings that we will see during the tour are: 📍Torre de la Calahorra, which served as a defense of the city; 📍Puerta del Puente, one of the 3 historic gates of Córdoba; 📍the mosque-cathedral, which at one point was the largest in all of Europe; 📍Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos, which has not only served as a royal palace. Next to the mosque-cathedral stands 📍the triumph of San Rafael, who is said to have saved the city from the plague. Furthermore we pass at: 📍the royal horse stables, where there are beautiful Andalusian horses; 📍the image of grandfather and child, symbolizing the many patios; 📍the Jewish quarter with its many small streets, which can not always be found on Google Maps. We end the tour in the main square of Córdoba Plaza de las Tendillas. To conclude, I also give you some tips where you can eat well and also what specialties Córdoba has to offer.

We had an excellent visit – the guided visit to the Mesquita was very informative about the history both of the city and the mosque and also full of architectural and archaeological details that made it particularly full of colour. Our guide was knowledgeable and always happy to answer questions which was superb. The second section of the tour, the Jewish quarter and synagogue, was led by Rafa – again we were able to enjoy the sightseeing and learn a lot about the history and background of what we were seeing, which added so much value – very highly recommend this tour to anybody else

Juan was an outstanding guide- worked to make the tour work for the four of us. He is extremely knowledgeable about the area and was able to give many examples of what would have been happening when in the Mosque and the Jewish neighborhood.

Good guide who gave us a very interesting tour of the mosque. The other guide also did a great job!

It was great. Our Guide was an archeologist with a great knowledge. Highly recommended.

Good experience, no queues, very attentive, enjoyable visit.
